This is old project but now with some mods

driver is no more required, based on HID, new firmware

Used parts:

• LCD 20x4 / Hitachi compatible
• Microchip PIC 18F2550
• Some parts, caps, resistors, USB connector

configuration sample

[sXX]TEXT[/s] - TEXT SCROLLING - Where XX is number of chars to be scrolled and TEXT is text to be scrolled

[mirc] - Show last message from mIRC client; mIRC script - here

(or anything else, by changing "mIRC" value in app.config file)

[winamp] - Current WinAmp song

[pc_cpu] - Percentage CPU usage

[time] - Current time :)

[xXX] - Start position, where XX is first column (in sample; CPU load is in 4th row and time is at end of line)

[temp_cpu] / [temp_mb] - be careful; is highly experimental using direct I/O of MB

Direct I/O using Winring0.dll library and configuration is follows:

Bank register - 0x4E
